How many prints will i get?
All our photo booths for hire come with unlimited photos i.e as many as your guests can take within your hire period. The printer takes about 12 seconds to print a photo.
What is the picture quality like?
All our pictures are of very high quality and resolution being taken with a high resolution Canon DSLR camera. All of the photos are printed using a high quality dye sublimation (dye-sub) photographic printer that are used by photo processing companies the world over.
What size are the Photo’s?
You can have a choice of sizes for your event. The photos can with be a single 4” x 6” photo or 4 individual photos printed on the 4″x6″ photo-paper. Other photo sizes and layouts can be provided on special order.
Will we get a copy of the photo’s as well as our guests?
Yes – all of the pictures from your photo booth hire will be provided on a DVD and can also be uploaded to Facebook directly from the Flash Photobooth.
Can the photo’s be uploaded to our Facebook page?
Yes – our photo booths come with the very latest bespoke photo booth software that will provide the option for you to have the photos uploaded directly to your, or our Facebook page during your event. Enabling you to Like and Share as soon as they have processed. We can even send your photos to an album on a business “fan” page, if you have one that you would like to use. If there is internet available (wifi) the pictures can even be uploaded to individual Facebook accounts.
Can the Photo Booth record Video?
Yes – all the photo booth rental packages come with the option for you and your guests to record video messages in full HD. Unlike some booths on the market our software enables “unlimited” recording time, in comparison to others which only allow up to 15 seconds. These are also provided on the DVD.
How does the Video messaging work?
Each photo booth has a touch screen, your guests get to choose from several options, prints in colour, prints in black & white, prints in sepia, key rings and video message. The photobooth is fully automatic and will switch between the modes instantly so your guests can have their prints and leave you a video message whilst in the photo booth. We then make you a DVD movie in high definition to watch at home. We can disable the feature also if you don’t require video messaging.
Is the Photo Booth easy to use?
Yes. All our photo booths are user-friendly with the very latest touch screen technology. Plus our staff are there to show you how.
Does the Photo Booth come with a trained attendant?
Each photo booth will be provided by fully trained, smartly dressed booth attendants. The attendants will transport and set-up the booth at your venue and be on-hand next to the photobooth throughout your event to ensure you and your guests get the most value and enjoyment from your photobooth.
How does the photo album work?
We set the photo booth up to print 2 copies of each picture, 1 for your guests and 1 for your photo album. We encourage your guests to leave messages next to their pictures. We will ensure the book is completed to a high standard and we hand deliver it to you at the end of the photo booth hire in perfect order.
How long will we be able to use the Photobooth?
You can use the photo booth for as long as you have booked it for. If you hire it for 3 hours, it will be constantly running for at least 3 hours. Don’t worry we don’t switch it off on the dot. We give you extra time if needed and additional hours can be arranged on the night but its always best to book ahead.
How long does it take to set the photobooth up?
When you hire a photo booth from Flash Photobooths our attendants allow at least 1 hour for set up. Each venue is obviously different. It can be set up within 30 minutes but we prefer to be a little early so we have plenty of time to meet,greet and discuss the best place.
What size is the photobooth?
Our photo booths are 2.3 metres long. 1.3 metres wide and 2 metres high. Please bare in mind that that is the footprint of the photo booth so we do need a little more space to set it up.
Can the Photo Booth be set up anywhere?
Yes our photo booths will fit through all doorways, upstairs and downstairs. Basically all we require is to set up near a power supply & flat surface for the photo booth to stand on. Our photo booth isn’t water proof so it does need to be indoor or under cover.
What power supply does the Photo Booth require?
All our photo booths and Photo Pods require 240v. That’s a normal 3 pin plug socket.
What are the idle hours?
Sometimes it not always possible to set up or break down the photo booth directly before or after an event. For example, if you require the booth setting up at 6pm but do not want it running until 9pm, this would be charged at 3 idle hours on top of the hire costs. Idle hours are generally charged at £20 per hour but please contact us for a quote.
Do you charge for delivery?
When you hire a photo booth they are delivered and assembled FREE within the North West. If you are outside the North West of England, please contact us as there may or may not be a small charge.
What is Green Screen?
Green Screen is available in all our Photobooth Hire packages for FREE. The photo booth computer inserts a picture background behind the subjects of the photo. This means that while the photo was taken in the booth it can look like it was taken in front of the Eiffel Tower, under water, in the Grand Canyon or pretty much anywhere!
This can be a different background in each of the four shots taken or the same in each. If you want to follow a specific theme of backgrounds then just let us know and we should be able to source a custom background theme for you.

Are you insured?
Yes. As well as carrying Public Liability insurance for all the events our booths attend, each of the booths equipment is separately PAT tested for electrical safety.
How do i book and do you need a deposit?
To book a photo booth click on this link or head to our Book Now tab. Fill in the form with your dates and times of hire and the address of the venue you require the booth. In the comments part please add any additional information and the message you would like to appear on all your prints.
Yes. We ask for a non-refundable retainer fee of £100 when you book with us. Payable by cash cheque,or BACS. Then the balance to be paid 21 days before your party or event. We can accept payments in instalments or even on the night with prior arrangement. Last minute bookings will always be considered,depending on availability.
